Dr. Wheeler graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1974. He completed his post-graduate training at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1979. After a two year general practice in the public health service, Dr. Wheeler continued his education at the University of North Carolina where he earned his Endodontic degree. Dr. Wheeler has 2 grown children.
Dr. Wheeler is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, North Carolina Dental Society, Tar Heel Endodontic Association, Charlotte Dental Society and Gaston County Dental Association.
